I have nothing to report. No projects, nothing completed, no progress, no funny life stories . . . nothing.
That's not to say I haven't been busy for the past several weeks doing mom stuff and kid stuff and cooking stuff and family stuff and cleaning stuff and working stuff -- just Nothing on the crafting front, which I have found to be very frustrating especially since I had such grand plans.
The first week of 2007 was a vacation week for me and I had all kinds of ambitious plans to finish up some projects and get them out the door. I accomplished nothing.
Not being much of a resolutions kind of person, I did set some personal goals for this year, which I had planned to list. I love listing them; I love crossing them off when completed. Do you see them listed? Nope, again nothing.
Is the end of January to late to write down your goals? In the big picture, probably not.
I DID join Runagogo!, a very cool idea thought up by a talented knitter and blogger. Her idea was to get everyone off the couch and moving -- walking, running, biking, skiing, skipping - whatever you wanted, just log 100 miles by April Fool's Day. What a cool idea, I thought! Just the incentive I needed! My sister joined; my daughter joined. And me?? I'm behind on my miles already.
There's a button to put on your blog, but I haven't figured out how to do that either.
Now I have a monstrous head cold and have done not much more than drink tea and Diet Coke today. I did finish reading The Kite Runner from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Probably the only person who had not yet read that one.
In an effort to jazz up this Nothing post, how about a photo of some fabric I received yesterday.
(Wow, what a seriously crooked photo. Also on my goal list: learn to use ALL of Photoshop.)
MUST GET MOVING!
I haven't read that book either. Or made my goal list. Or exercised. So you are not alone!

There you are!! I was wondering where you went! I'm sorry to hear you're sick. I haven't read the Kite Runner yet, even though it's been recommended to me a thousand times. That fabric is very nice, I can't wait to see what you do with it!!!

Well I haven't read that book either so don't worry about being the last for that. Sorry to hear that you are under the weather :(
